Granqvist signs for Genoa

FC Groningen captain Andreas Granqvist has joined Genoa on a four-year deal, the Eredivisie club have announced.

Granqvist , who had a year remaining on his contract at Euroborg, makes the move for a fee of €2 million. He spent three seasons with Groningen, making 116 appearances, and is now looking forward to a new challenge in Serie A.
