Roma defender Juan insists he is focused on life at the Stadio Olimpico amid reports that he is considering a return to his native Brazil with former club Flamengo.

Juan has plied his trade in Europe since 2002, when he swapped Flamengo for Bayer Leverkusen, and has played for the Giallorossi for the past five years.

Flamengo have openly courted the experienced Brazil international about a possible return to the club where he started his career, but he is refusing to publicly entertain the idea of leaving Italy.

''I'm not thinking about these rumours," the 33-year-old said. "I'm just focused exclusively on Roma right now.''

Juan's current deal with Roma expires in 2013 and contract negotiations are not believed to have been opened as yet.
