Colombian striker Carlos Darwin Quintero scored twice as Mexico's Santos Laguna beat compatriots Atlante 2-1 at home to edge ahead in their CONCACAF Champions League semi-final.
Quintero put the hosts ahead after just five minutes before Argentinian Gabriel Pereyra headed home to hand Atlante a potentially crucial away goal just before the break.
But Quintero, who scored twice in injury time in the second leg of their quarter-final against Montreal Impact to secure a 5-4 aggregate win, netted with 16 minutes remaining to hand his side a slender advantage ahead of the second leg at Quintana Roo Stadium in Cancun on April 8.
